Before becoming a freelance illustrator/graphic artist, Steve worked for newspapers creating graphics and illustrations for 14 years.
He is heavily influenced by the vintage propaganda poster and product art from the early 20th century as well as the retro-futuristic art from the mid-20th century.
Aside from creating images for the 2011 Minnesota State Fair, the Minnesota Vikings, and US Bank Stadium, his artwork has also been licensed through some of the largest brands in the world. Lucasfilm, Disney, Hasbro, 20th Century Fox, Marvel, Virgin Atlantic, Clif Bar, CamelBak, and Garmin.
